Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6400 CL32 32GB Memory Kit Performance
We installed the Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition in our Z890 test system which is made up of the following components.
Processor: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
Video Card: ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4080 Super OC
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero
Memory: Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6400 CL32 32GB
Storage: Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite
Power: Seasonic Vertex GX-1200
Cooling: ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme
Case: BC1 Open Benchtable
Taking a look at CPU-Z we can see this memory is running at its XMP speeds of 6000 MHz with timings of 28-36-36-76 at 1.4V. We can also see the memory does in fact have both XMP and EXPO profiles. There is only a single profile for each though.

For testing we will run the memory at these settings using the below benchmarking software. Below is a list of benchmarking software that we use.
– AIDA64 Cache & Memory Benchmark
– PassMark Memory Mark
– Cinebench R24
– 3DMark Speed Way
– 3DMark Steel Nomad





I didn’t see any mention of the height, which is apparently 35mm based on the Amazon listing. This is essential for those of us who refuse to use watercooling and need to know that we would have to raise the front fan on our Noctua D15 G2 3mm when using these dimms.
