Cryorig has an impressive line of CPU coolers and the H7 Plus is one of their best performing coolers currently available. In our load testing it currenty sits in the #3 spot behind the Cooler Master MasterAir MA620P and Scythe Ninja 5. The Cooler Master cooler is much harder to install, but does offer RGB fans. The Ninja 5 from Scythe is just massive and uses three fans.
So at the end of the day I think that Scythe has a better cooler overall. While the installation was not the easiest we’ve experienced, it was far easier than many other coolers that are the same size. I think that Cryorig could have provided better instructions though.
This cooler is made to fit in pretty much any system. It is only 145 mm tall and is made to have RAM clearance so it is not going to cover this nice RGB modules. The top-cap on the heatsink with the Cryorig logo looks pretty good as well.
I think that if you are looking for an air cooler, this is a solid choice. It has good performance and is not all that difficult to install. Also is is not very loud during load either. Right now this cooler is selling for $64.99, which we feel is pretty fair for what you are getting. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Cryorig H7 Plus a 9 out of 10 score.
