Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed Until December 10th

Cyberpunk 2077 will be delayed again, this time 21 days with a release date slated for December 10th. One of the biggest reasons for this delay according to CD Projekt Red is that they have to prepare the game for many different platforms.

“The biggest challenge for us right now is shipping the game on current-gen, next-gen, and PC at the same time, which requires us to prepare and test nine versions of it,” the company said in a statement. “We need to make sure everything works well and every version runs smoothly. We’re aware it might seem unrealistic when someone says 21 days can make any difference in such a massive and complex game, but they really do.”

This is not the first delay for the game unfortunately. Many gamers were hoping for a September release, which was pushed back till November 19th when the developers promised “no more delays are happening”, but here we are. Hopefully this is the last delay and we can all play the game before the end of 2020.
