DeepCool AK400 WH CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts

As we come to the end here I have to say I really like the AK400 WH from DeepCool. It is a simple single-tower, single-fan cooler that is easy to install and has pretty decent performance overall. With DeepCool’s latest products they have adopted this really sleek design language that just looks amazing, especially on the white versions of their products. We saw this on the LS720 WH Liquid CPU Cooler and we have it here on the AK400 WH. You would be hard-pressed to find a better looking white air cooler out there!

Of course its not all about looks, the AK400 WH has pretty decent performance for this actual size of the cooler. While it was towards the bottom of our test group, our test group is mostly made up of larger dual-tower, dual-fan coolers. This is not going to be a cooler I would suggest throwing on a high-end Ryzen 9 or Core i9, but for mid-range CPUs it is great and it is not loud at all. It is one of the quietest coolers that we’ve ever tested!

Since the cooler is not all that large it is very easy to install too. Installation should take you at most 10 minutes. This is a cooler that you can easily install while you have your motherboard mounted inside your case. Also since it is not that large you are going to have 100% clearance on your memory which means this is an air cooler that you can use with RGB memory!

Right now you can pick this cooler up at our favorite online retailer for $39.99, which also puts it far below many of the coolers that are in our test group. Overall ThinkComputers gives the DeepCool AK400 WH a 9 out of 10 score.
