Recently DeepCool has released “Zero Dark” versions of many of their popular air coolers. This gives these coolers a “blacked out” look as they have made literally everything on the coolers black from the heatsink, heatpipes, fan, and even the fan clips! This all-black look is great for people who are going for that type of look for their build. Today we are checking out the AK500 Zero Dark, which is a single-tower, single-fan air cooler that features five 6mm-thick heatpipes and 240W of heat dissipation power. Let’s take a look and see what this cooler is all about!
Special thanks to DeepCool for providing us with the AK500 Zero Dark CPU Cooler to review.
The AK500 Zero Dark comes in a nice retail package. On the front we have a picture of the cooler itself. Flipping it over to the back there is a full list of specifications.
Opening the box up we find everything inside nicely protected. Getting everything out we have the AK500 Zero Dark CPU cooler itself, your mounting hardware, a screwdriver, thermal paste, a low noise adapter, an extra set of fan clips, and a user’s guide.
