EA Games Will Be Returning to Steam in November

EA has just announced that some of their most popular games will be making their way back to Steam after forgoing the platform since launching Origin in 2011. Games like FIFA20, Battlefield V, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, The Sims 4, Apex Legends, and Unravel Two will all make their way to Steam in the “coming months” EA says, while their EA access subscription will be coming to Steam next spring.

“Electronic Arts and Valve have partnered to put EA games into the hands of the players on Steam,” EA says in a blog post. “Starting next spring, EA Access – our ever-growing subscription service powered by great games and member benefits – will be making its way to Steam. EA Access is the first and only gaming subscription service available on Steam, and the fourth platform featuring an EA subscription.”

The first EA game to come to steam will be Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order when it launches on November 15th. This will be the first EA game on the Steam platform since 2011 when EA decided to leave the platform to boost exposure for its own Origin platform.
