EVGA might be the place to hit if you are looking for one of the best performing graphics cards right now. EVGA has discounted the GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 Gaming edition by almost 1000 USD bringing down the original price of 2149 USD to almost half. And the good news is that this isn’t the only card to have received a major slash in pricing.
We all know that the RTX 3090 has been labeled by NVIDIA as the fastest GPU on the planet. It features a total of 10752 CUDA cores and has a GDDR6X memory of 24 GB. With this number of cores, the card can reach boost clocks of 1890 MHz whereas the memory can clock at 21000 MHz with a bandwidth of 1008 GB/s.
With the recent pricing changes, the RTX 3090 Ti cards were seen selling within a range of 1300 USD to 1500 USD depending on the kind of deal or the model. This seems to be quite a hefty discount from the 2000 USD for the Founders Edition. It is hard to imagine that there were days when it was close to impossible to buy the RTX 3090 Ti as well as many other similar cards.
EVGA is also offering a discount on the RTX 3090 Ti FTW Ultra Gaming edition which is also discounted by 1000 USD to 1199 USD. Almost all the RTX 3090 Ti models are having at least a 500 USD slash in price which includes the FTW3 Ultra Hybrid Gaming model with which you can get liquid cooling as well for only 1499 USD after an instant rebate of 700 USD.
However, even with these discounts and prices, gamers might still want to hold off on their purchases as we are nearing the release of the NVIDIA 40 series graphics cards which are expected to release by this year’s end. We are surrounded by rumors claiming that the RTX 4080 Ti will match the heavyweight version of the RTX 3090 Ti. If these rumors are to be trusted and if the supply remains in abundance, buyers will be getting a whole lot of more power with at an even lower price.
Even if not solely for the price, some buyers would wait just for the unmatched performance which the RTX 4090 Ti promises. It might come with 18176 CUDA cores with twice as much RAM as 48 GB.
