Power Consumption
Power consumption for a system is of course very important. To measure power consumption I used a killawatt meter. The idle test is taken on the Windows 10 desktop and the load test is taken while running a loop of Heaven Benchmark 30 minutes, which we feel is close to a typical gaming session. Keep in mind these numbers are for the entire system.

  1. You cannot install the i/o cover if you use the top slot for any of the new 1070 or 1080 cpu’s. The card gets in the way of the i/o cover on this mobo. And you want to use the top slot for your video card, closest to the CPU.
