Take Tow has officially revealed that Grand Theft Auto V has now sold over 100 million units since it was launched in 2013. This announcement was part of the financial results in Q2 for Take Two Interactive.
They have seen net revenue growing 11% to 492.7 million compared to the same period last year. It is also very interesting to see that digital-delivered net revenue grew 18% to $358.4 million, which makes up 73% of total revenue.
100 million units is quite the feat and something very few games can do. Only Tetris and Minecraft have sold over 100 million copies.
