FluidStance The Level Balance Board Review

FluidStance The Level Overview

Taking a first look at The Level the thing that instantly caught my attention was the color of the wood finish. FluidStance sent over the “Ocean Blue” version of The Level and I have to say it looks absolutely amazing! They also offer a natural light wood finish and a dark walnut finish. The top deck of The Level is indeed real maple wood.

Looking at the overall design of The Level it sort of has a wide rectangular design with curved edges. It is about the size of a wider skateboard deck. The official dimensions are 26.5″ long x 12.2″ wide x 2.5″ tall and it weighs in at 7lbs and 12 oz.

Flipping the board over to the back we can see that the bottom part of the board is made out of a single piece of military-grade aluminum. There are many holes cut out of the bottom to of course cut down on the weight, but don’t worry The Level will easily support your weight. FluidStance tells us The Level is recommended for users under 200 lbs.

The bottom part of the board has sort of a convex shape with a large center circle. This allows for the center to sit on the ground, but when weight is put on either end of the board it will move. This of course makes it so you have to balance the board when you stand on it. There are also rubber feet on each end of the board.
