Gigabyte X570S Motherboard Surfaces on the CPU-Z Validation Website

Today, a new motherboard was discovered on the CPU-Z validation website, which was named Gigabyte’s X570S AORUS Pro AX. Apparently, the motherboard will fall under the AORUS series, and the name suggests that it will secure a spot in the budget gaming series with its onboard WiFi AX support. However, the important thing about the motherboard is the S mentioned in the name.

There could be many possibilities as to what S stands for, Super, etc, but as per a recent leak, the word S stands for silent. This means that Gigabyte’s upcoming X570S series will be passively cooled, eliminating the need for a fan over the chipset.

Currently, we have some passively cooled X570 motherboards in the market, such as ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero or Gigabyte X570 AORUS Xtreme; unfortunately, these models cater to enthusiasts where the price is not an issue compared to what these motherboards offer.

You should know that the X570S was spotted along with AMD Ryzen 7 5700G desktop. The APU isn’t available for sale since they are being distributed to OEMs exclusively. Our wild guess is that Gigabyte has leaked the CPU-Z validation results to validate their motherboards compatibility with new AMD CPUs.
