Usage & Final Thoughts on the Glorious Model O 2 Mini Wireless Gaming Mouse

I’ve been using the Model O 2 Mini Wireless as my daily driver for a couple of weeks now and I have been enjoying it. I do have to say you can for sure tell that it is smaller than a normal mouse. It however, does not feel like a travel or mobile mouse by any means. Those are tiny and you can’t expect any real gaming performance out of those!

Beyond the size the Model O 2 Mini Wireless is quite lightweight at only 57 grams. As I said at the beginning of this review Glorious was at the forefront of the lightweight gaming mouse movement and they really changed my mind about lightweight mice. Being more lightweight means that it will glide across your gaming surface much easier, so all of those flicks are effortless.

Talking about that, I did not notice any issues with the Glorious BAMF 2.0 26,000 DPI sensor. I was mostly playing Apex Legends and the tracking was good and reliable. Also being the wireless version I did not have any noticeable latency when using the mouse in 2.4 GHz mode. Things were smooth and responsive. You can of course use the mouse in wired mode or even opt for the wired-only version of the mouse.

Battery life should not be a concern either as you’ll get 110 hours in 2.4 GHz mode and 210 hours in Bluetooth mode. If anything I am not the biggest fan of the Type-C connector that Glorious is using. While it does make connecting it to the dongle adapter and mouse easier, it essentially makes it a proprietary cable.

It is nice to see Glorious have different size options when it comes to their mice. If you are someone who has smaller hands or who may want a high performance travel mouse this is going to be the mouse for you! Of course if you are not in either of those camps you can go for a full-size Model O 2. Right now you can pick up the Model O 2 Mini Wireless at our favorite online retailer for $99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Glorious Model O 2 Mini Wireless Gaming Mouse a 9 out of 10 score.
