Griffin PowerDock 5 Overview
The Griffin PowerDock 5 is a pretty simple device. It is basically a base and as you saw in our video on the previous page we have installed the spacers that will help keep all of our devices organized.
At the front of the unit there are five powered USB ports. The PowerDock 5 provides a total of 50W output so that is 10W or 2.1V per outlet. This means that it will charge your devices quite quickly.
Flipping the PowerDock 5 over the bottom is made of rubber so it stay in place on your desk. There is actually a good amount of space under the unit for routing the power cable.
Setup & Usage

The PowerDock 5 does have built in channels for your cables, but the only cable that actually worked with them was a lightning cable I had.
