Usage & Final Thoughts on the HYTE Keeb TKL keyboard

I’ve been using the Keeb as my main keyboard for the past few weeks and I have to say I’ve really been enjoying it. The biggest thing when it comes to a keyboard is how comfortable it is going to be and I feel like HYTE got it right here. I really was able to “get into the zone” as I say whether I was writing a review like this, sending an e-mail or even gaming. The HYTE Fluffy Lavender Linear switches feel great and are very responsive. If you are wondering what the keyboard sounds like below is a sound test.

I feel like HYTE got the sound right here too, it is very satisfying. Another thing that is unique about this keyboard is that HYTE designed the multimedia keys with different switches so you know when you are pressing them. The rollers are great too and their larger size really makes them easy to use. The sound and feel of this keyboard has a lot to do with what’s going on under the hood. You have the gasket-mount design, 4 layers of sound dampening, gold-plated Durock V2 screw-in stabilizers which are pre-lubed, and the anodized aluminum top plate.

We of course can’t talk about this keyboard without talking about the lighting. It is some of the best lighting that I’ve been on a keyboard and it is incredibly customizable. The crystal bubble polycarbonate casing really makes the lighting shine and this keyboard is going to excellent sitting on your desk.

We’ve seen so many companies come out with keyboards, but many are just meh and average at best. It is good to see HYTE jump into this space and do it right. It would be nice to see some other switch options and per-key RGB lighting. Right now you can pick up this keyboard at our favorite online retailer for $179.99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the HYTE Keeb TKL keyboard a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
