Packaging of the HYTE Powered USB Hub

As the hub inside isn’t very big, it comes in a fairly small box compared to most of the components we take a look at here at ThinkComputers. The front of the box features a “blueprint-like” drawing of the hub found inside, while the back of the box shows another image of the hub, along with a simple example of how the cables are connected to it. There is also a basic components list and basic specifications list.

Accessories That Come With The HYTE Powered USB Hub

The only required accessory included with the hub is a single cable that connects the hub to your system. On the hub side of things is a standard male USB Type-C connector, while the other end of the cable is divided between a SATA power connector and a USB 2.0 header. This cable allows the hub to have all the power it needs to provide for all expansion ports to be fully functional via the SATA end, and to provide connectivity back to the motherboard via the USB 2.0 end for the actual data signals. The second accessory included with the hub is a simple hook and loop double adhesive strip so that you can easily attach the hub to surfaces that aren’t compatible with the hub’s internal magnets.
