In Win Commander II 1200W Power Supply Review

Testing
Our test system includes the following:

Case:  Zalman Z9 Plus
Motherboard: ASRock 890FX Deluxe5
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz
Memory: 2x2GB Patriot Gseries DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz
Power Supply: In Win Commander II 1200W
Video Card: Sparkle Calibre 9800GTX+ 512MB

Despite its large wattage, the In Win Commander II 1200W has no problems fitting inside any standard case, in our case, the Zalman Z9 Plus.

For testing we will be using OCCT to stress test the system and log the changes in voltages.  Initial spot checks on the 3.3V, 5V and 12V rails were 3.34V, 5.02V and 12.94V respectively.  Here are the results from the OCCT stress test.

3.3V

Overall the results were pretty good. All of the tests resulted in a ripple of less than 1.5%: the 3.3V at 1.44%, 5V at 0.96% and the 12V at 0.86%.
