Intel NUC 12 “Serpent Canyon” Is 63% Faster Than NUC 11 Enthusiast

Recent testing of the Mini-PC from Intel was carried out by ETA Prime, a well-known company for its in-depth coverage of Mini-PC, laptops, and portable consoles. It could not have been in better hands regarding such devices. The NUC 12 Enthusiast belongs to the Intel Alder Lake product series and features a Core i7-12700H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads. Companies frequently employ this CPU in high-end gaming laptops. While the 12th generation Core CPU is incredible, that is not what makes this product stand out. It is an Intel discrete GPU.

The frequency of A770 M’s clock speed is faster than its stated 1650 MHz. The in-game frequency varies between 1700 and 2000 MHz throughout the game. It can play games at a smooth 1440p resolution with medium or high settings and even run games at 4K with some resolution scaling enabled. Resolution upscaling technology, such as XeSS, would greatly improve the quality of this product.

The NUC 12 achieves 10777 graphics points in 3DMark TimeSpy, which is 63% quicker than its predecessor with GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The NUC 12 Enthusiast is now available at some stores and is in the process of being shipped. The price starts at about $1,699.
