iStorage diskAshur2 Overview
Taking a first look at the iStorage diskAshur2 you can see that we received the blue version, it is also available in black, green, and red as well. The drive is about the size you would expect from an external hard drive with official dimensions of 124 mm x 84 mm x 19 mm. The 3-5TB versions are slightly thicker.
On the front of the drive we have subtle iStorage branding at the top, little indication LEDs, and a full PIN pad. This is where you’ll of course input your PIN to gain access to the drive.
Flipping over to the back there is not much, but we do have four small feet that will keep the drive in place on your desk. The drive feels quite good and is actually has an IP56 dust and water resistant body.
On the side of the drive you’ll find the attached USB USB 3.1 gen 1 (type-A) cable. This cable is not very long, so if you plan on using this on your desktop you might need to get an extension cable.
