There are not many devices out there that give you full hardware-based encryption like this drive does. As a recap this drive offers AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption and has been FIPS PUB 197 validated.
On top of that there are many safety features the drive employs like brute force protection, a self-destruct mode, and even a unattended auto-lock clock. These will definitely protect your data against unauthorized users trying to access it.
The drive is built quite well too. It has a rugged design and is IP56 dust and water resistant, so it should be able to survive most situations.
