Kingston XS2000 Overview
The Kingston XS2000 is definitely one of the smallest and lightest portable solid state drive’s we’ve reviewed. It has official dimensions of 69.54 x 32.58 x 13.5mm and weighs in at 28.9g.
The main casing of the drive is made of plastic, although it does have a silver finish, which makes it appear to be metal. On the top of the drive there is a Kingston logo and on the opposite side you’ll find the typical sticker will all of your serial numbers and information on the drive.
On the end of the drive you’ll find a single USB-C connection and a indication LED.
The rubber sleeve that comes with the drive is easy enough to install. It gives the drive extra protection, and makes it easier to handle. It also allows the drive to have an IP55 rating.
