Lamptron Announces CU135 ARGB Fan and Lighting Controller

Lamptron has just announced a new fan and lighting controller, the CU135, which will sit as their flagship device. The “kit” is made up of a main control unit that you can hide behind your motherboard or in a drive bay, a display module that gets installed right under your graphics card, and a RF remote control. The main control unit has six 3-pin addressable RGB headers as well as six 4-pin PWM fan headers (36W per channel). It also has can take six 2-pin thermal diodes (included in the package). You power the unit via 4-pin Molex or SATA power.

Then you have a 7.84-inch LCD display, which is a touchscreen and allows you to view fan speeds and temperatures for all of the devices you have connected to it. It looks far better than the display that we saw on the SM436.

Using the touchscreen you can set color and lighting effects for each of the six lighting zone as well as set custom fan curves for each of the six fan connections. The CU135 will also take a 3-pin ARGB connection from your motherboard. The LCD has official dimensions of 360 mm × 70 mm × 12.5 mm and will take up 3 expansion slots inside of your case.
