Leak shows redesigned Intel logo and Core branding, and new ‘EVO’ brand of CPUs

Looks like Intel has some serious brand reimagining in the works. The CPU giant seems to have a new brand in the works, with the existing branding also getting an overhaul.

The new branding efforts were recently leaked by multiple sources, and show a fresh new minimal design language. The leaks include a new Intel logo, and Intel Inside logo, a rebranded Core logo, and best of all — a new brand called EVO, which has a “Powered by Core” tagline. A great way to brand your company is to create a logo animation with makewebvideo.com. Take a look:

Intel new logo

The new logo could be a hint at their new CPU design that will come with Alder Lake, as Guru3D notes. The design has a big square and a small square, which could very well be a hint at big.LITTLE, which includes having some cores dedicated to performance, and some for low power consumption. Intel will be adopting this design with the Alder Lake chips.

the EVO branding could also be the new brand the company is spawning since this CPU design marks a change for Intel, who has been struggling in getting its fabrication process right for smaller sizes. It looks like the i3, i5, i7, and i9 branding will stay, however.

A patent has also been filed for the new Intel logo. What do you think of this new identity for Intel? Let us know in the comments, down below!
