A handful of slides have been leaked giving us quite a lot of information about Intel’s upcoming solid state drive solutions for 2014. In the second quarter of 2014 we will see the introduction of three storage solutions from Intel, the SSD Pro 2500 series (codename Temple Star), SSD DC P3500 Series (Pleasantdale), and the SSD DC P3700 Series (Fultondale). All three series drives are going to be based off 20 nm MLC NAND, wil lbe available in two different form factors, and will be backed by a 5-year warranty.

Starting with the SSD Pro 2500 Series, they will come in 2.5-inch and M.2 form factors and deliver speeds of up to 540 MB/s read and 490 MB/s write. These SSDs will be available in 80 GB, 180 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB capacities.

The SSD DC P3500 Series will come in 2.5-inch and PCI-Express (AIC) form factors. These drives will pack read and write speeds of up to 2800 MB/s and 1700 MB/s respectively. They will come in capacities of 250 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB.

Finally the SSD DC P3700 series, this series is the only series that packs high endurance technology NAND chips. These drives will also be available in 2.5-inch and PCI-Express (AIC) form factors. Speeds for these drives will be 2800 MB/s read and 1700 MB/s write. They will be available in 200 GB, 400 GB, 800 GB, 1.6 TB and 2 TB capacities.
