Lenovo IdeaCentre Y900 Razer Edition Gaming Desktop Review

Gaming Accessories
Our favorite accessory that Lenovo sent along with the IdeaCentre Y900 Razer Edition is the Y27g RE Curved Gaming Monitor. This is a monitor made specifically for gaming with a R1800 curved panel, the most extreme curve available today! This panel is NVIDIA G-SYNC enabled, has a 144hz refresh rate, and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080.

The monitor also has a USB 3.0 hub on it, headset holder, and even RGB lights! These lights can be controlled via the Razer Synapse software, which we will show you in just a little bit.

This monitor has really been a joy to use. Going from a 60hz screen to a 144hz screen is like night and day, especially when it comes to gaming. Being curved you really feel immersed in the game that you are playing. Pictures and video will not do this display justice, you really have to try it out yourself!

The IdeaCentre Y900 Razer Edition comes with both the Razer Blackwidow Chroma gaming keyboard and the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition gaming mouse. These both are great gaming peripherals. The Blackwidow Chroma features Razer’s own mechanical switches which I had never used before. Let’s just say I am in love with them. These have great feedback and really remind me of Cherry MX blue’s. The Mamba tournament edition mouse has a great feel and is simple enough for a gamer like me who mostly plays FPS games. Both devices have RGB lights and look awesome when they are synced up together!
