Benchmarks and Testing
As previously mentioned, we will be running the ThinkPad T15g Gen 2 through both practical and gaming benchmarks to get a feel of just how it performs. As we don’t have a suite of laptops to compare this model to, results will need to be compared to reviews and information found for other vendors and models. First up we have the PCMark 10 benchmark.
Next up is Geekbench 5.
Below are the results from CrystalDiskMark to show the performance of the PCIe Gen 4 drive included in our review unit.
Moving on to synthetic gaming benchmarks, we have results first from 3DMark TimeSpy and Fire Strike (Standard and Extreme).

Borderlands 3 (1080p, DX12, Badass) – 77.31fps Average
Far Cry: New Dawn (1080p, Ultra) – 83fps Average

Wolfenstein: Youngblood (1080p, Mein leben!) – 131fps Average
