Lenovo working on World’s First Foldable PC

Lenovo has just unveiled a new prototype foldable laptop. This new ThinkPad prototype will have a 13.3-inch 2K OLED-based display that has a fold much like the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone, so the latch magnetically leaves a small gap near the hinge. When the foldable laptop is laid out flat it does not have an obvious crease.

This new laptop will need a tweaked version of Windows before it is able to ship, but the Verge said the foldable screen fold “as advertised” and the Windows “worked well enough”.

We definitely like the idea of a folding laptop, but we would definitely have to see how well the laptop does after folding it hundreds of times. Lenovo will be unveiling more details on its foldable laptop in 2020.
