Usage and Final Thoughts on the Logitech PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX
I’ve been using the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX as a daily driver for the past couple of weeks now. While I am mainly doing productivity work, I do get in some gaming when I can. First let’s talk about the shape, I actually quite like it a lot. It really does give that ergo feel at the back and the symmetrical feet towards the front. It is comfortable and you can use it for hours without any issues.
The plastic feel of the mouse may leave some people a little unsatisfied. While you need to use thinner and less premium materials on a lightweight mouse it did feel a little less premium to me. If you do want a better feel and more grip, Logitech does include mouse grips.
When it comes to performance I was very satisfied for the most part. The HERO 2 sensor is great and the main mouse clicks did feel quite good. The side buttons are another story for me. Like I said I am used to my Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro and the side buttons here just feel mushy and they have quite a lot of travel comparatively.
The mouse feet are also not the best. It seems Logitech is using the same mouse feet they used on the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 and from what I’ve gathered everyone who had that mouse went and got aftermarket mouse feet. To me the mouse feet seem slow, which probably has a lot to do with their size.
It just seems like Logitech hasn’t really done much new with this mouse beyond the shape. It has the same sensor, same switches, same side buttons, and those horrible mouse feet that were on the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. You can see why many Logitech fans have been disappointed with them lately, just not real innovation and obviously not making changes after customer feedback.
With that said this is not a horrible mouse, I actually do like it and it is comfortable. I would have said if you like the shape and it is comfortable for you it is worth picking up, but then I looked at the price, IT IS 160 DOLLARS! With the competition that is out there again I can see why people are upset with Logitech. If this mouse was $100 it would be a good buy, but at $160 it is just overpriced for what it is. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Logitech PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX Gaming Mouse a 7 out of 10 score.

Pros:
– Very comfortable shape
– Good performance of the sensor / main buttons
– Lightweight
– Great wireless performance
– Included mouse tape
Cons:
– Price
– Mouse feet are just bad
– Side buttons feel mushy
– No real changes from the SUPERLIGHT 2 beyond shape
