It has been a very, very long time since I’ve reviewed a Logitech gaming mouse or even used one for that matter. My daily driver has been the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro since I reviewed it back in 2022 and before that it was the Razer Viper V2 Pro so you can say I’ve definitely been a fan of Razer mice. Logitech of course is known as one of the best when it comes to gaming mice with their iconic G502, but lately it seems many people have not been happy with Logitech’s releases. The PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX is a right-handed asymmetrical mouse that weighs in at 60G. It features a new shape, which was developed over the past several years. Under the hood you have Logitech’s HERO 2 sensor that offers tracking at over 888 IPS, 88 G, and up to 44,000 DPI as well as their LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical mechanical switches. This is of course a wireless mouse and you’ll get a polling rate of 8000 Hz thanks to Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED wireless tech and a battery life of up to 95 hours. The Logitech PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX comes in the standard PRO X packaging with a picture of the mouse on the front. On the side of the box you’ll find some of the main features listed and a full list of specifications.
Getting everything out of the box you’ll find the mouse itself, a USB-A to USB-C cable, LIGHTSPEED wireless receiver, receiver extension adapter, optional grip tape, POWERPLAY optional door (for wireless charging), and a user’s guide.
The LIGHTSPEED wireless receiver is your typical smaller USB one. With any wireless gaming mouse these days it is good to see the extension adapter to move the receiver away from your PC for less interference.
