LUXA2 Lavi-S Overview
The Lavi-S is an over-the-ear style headset. When I first took it out of the packaging I noticed that the earcups were quite large. This is because they not only have the 40 mm drivers inside they also house external speakers.
The earcups themselves have dual-layer cushion pads, which should keep your ears nice and comfortable for hours of use.
The outside part of the earcups feature an external speaker. This is not something you typically find on a headset, but makes this a more versatile headset and it can serve multiple purposes now. The headset features a 4Watt max output (2W+2W) speakers. The headset also offers adjustment by pulling each earcup down independently.
On the right earcup is where you will find all of your controls and connections. You have a line in connection, microUSB power connection, volume up / down buttons, power connection, activity LED, and a speaker on / off button. There is also a microphone on the bottom of this earcup so you can take calls.
The headband of the headset has a sort of soft-touch feel to it and the underside has a sort of memory foam that should keep your head comfortable during use. There is also a LUXA2 logo written across the top of the headband.
The headset can be folded down to make it easier to throw in a laptop bag or backpack. Again as I said I really would have liked to have seen a carrying case or bag come with this headset.
