Modder Makes A Mac Pro-Like Hackintosh

When the new Mac Pro was announced towards the end of last year it gained a lot of attention, not only for what was inside and the price, but also its shape. Not everyone has $2999 to spend on a Mac Pro, but you can still build one right? Well a German modder decided he would and the result is what you see below.

Obviously to build a full system in such a confined space the modder went with a Mini-ITX motherboard, the GIGABYTE Z87N Wi-Fi. He also decided to use a low-profile CPU cooler and normal memory. Then he actually had to take apart the power supply to get it to fit into the case. With the help of a rise card he was also able to get a Radeon HD 7750 into the system.

There are two 140 mm fans (1 top, 1 bottom), to help keep the entire system cool. This is one of the better and more creative mods that we have been in a while!
