MSI became the first laptop manufacturer to officially include NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 mobile GPUs in its laptops. MSI has also introduced new variants to its GF65 Thin series.
MSI GF65 Thin lineup will feature GeForce RTX 3060 Max-Q with 6GB GDDR6 memory. These laptops will still feature the same design and 10th Gen Core Comet Lake-H CPUs. It looks like the majority of the high-end laptops are powered by Intel 10th Gen Core Comet Lake-H CPUs, but some may feature the 11th Gen series too. Unfortunately, the 8-core mobile replacement will not happen until the second quarter, at least.
The MSI-65 Thin will feature a 15.6-inch screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 45% NTSC color gamut coverage. All variants will feature different memory and storage capacities.
Currently, the MSI GF65 series is priced from 900 to 1300 USD depending on CPU and GPU options. We will have to wait to see if the updated version will cost the same or the price will be increased. MSI will unveil these laptops at a special event on January 13.
