Final Thoughts on the MSI MAG Pano 100L PZ Case

There are so many aquarium-style PC cases out there these days, but many are riddled with flaws, made cheaply, or are just a pain to build in. With the MAG Pano 100L PZ MSI has another solid case to add to their portfolio and I wonder why they are not more known for cases as each one I’ve taken a look at has been quite good.

If you are looking for a case that is a bit more unique than the standard square-shaped cases this is it. The angles on the front of the case really set it apart while still giving you a nice view into your system. The slight bit of RGB lighting in the form of a light bar and MSI Logo on the front add some flare. I also like how MSI has moved the buttons and front I/O to the side of the case so it does not ruin the look of the case. This side placement is also easier to access. Connectivity does include a USB 3.2 gen 2 Type-C port which is nice to see.

A case that is meant to show off your hardware can have some cooling issues, but MSI has added a side-mount like many others and there is quite a lot of ventilation on this case as well. While the case does not ship with fans you do have room inside for 10 fans as well as three 360mm radiators. The bottom cooling mount is also removable to make fan or radiator installation easier.

Talking about installation I did not run into a single issue when it came to installation. You can fit large graphics cards and CPU coolers in this case no problem and the case does support back-connect motherboards like MSI’s own Project Zero and ASUS’s BTF. Another thing that surprised me about this case was the hard drive support, you actually have room to install up to 5 drives, which is not all that common these days. There are plenty of cable routing holes and a lot of space behind the motherboard try to hide all of your cables so you have a very clean build.

If anything I would really like to see MSI offer a version with fans. At $119.99 at our favorite online retailer you really can’t complain given the quality and features of this case. Overall ThinkComputers gives the MSI MAG Pano 100L PZ Case a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
