To test power consumption we will be using a Kill-A-Watt meter. This will measure the entire system power draw at any given moment. We first run an idle test on the Windows 10 desktop at 1 hour of inactivity.
Then we run the AIDA64 system stability test with only the GPU selected, which puts 100% load on the GPU.
For our temperature testing we run two different tests. The first is idle with our system sitting on the Windows Desktop.
The second is running the AIDA64 system stability test with only the GPU selected.
We have added in noise level testing to our test suite. We use a Risepro sound level meter, which is placed on our test bench at the same place. We record the highest noise level during both idle and load.
As you can see there is not a massive change in noise level, and I have to say the Twin Frozr 7 cooling solution on the card is very quiet.
