Last week, MSI announced its new series of cards called FUZION. So far, only the RTX 4090 SUPRIM FUZION model has been revealed. However, MSI is also working on another model, the EXPERT FUZION, which gained significant attention at CES 2024, where it was initially showcased.
The elegant cooler design with its push/pull dual-fan setup has been enhanced rather than eliminated. MSI has replaced the heatsink inside the card with a full radiator equipped with short tubes connected to a pump. This innovative design was created in partnership with Cooler Master.
Unfortunately there is no information on whether this new design offers any benefits. If this card becomes available, it likely won’t be identical to the original RTX 4080 SUPER released in January. The FUZION model is slightly longer, though both cards maintain the three-slot design.
MSI is currently displaying this card at their Computex booth, including a version without the shroud attached. The entire VRM section and memory are fully covered, likely the reason the original air cooler was kept.
