MSI has now completely unveiled its flagship MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard. This limited variant has been specially designed for Intel’s Alder Lake Desktop CPUs.
The all new motherboard will feature a 3.5-inch ‘M-Vision’ touch panel. Connected through a USB Type-C interface instead of a proprietary, the panel will be completely removable. The teaser showcases a wide range of metrics from temperature to clock speed, as well as options to adjust CPU clock, safe boost, Clear CMOS, OC retry, and overclock ability, heaven for overclockers, enthusiasts, and tuners indeed.
Apart from the fact that it will come in an E-ATX form factor, the MSI’s MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard is expected to be the largest flagship among the lot with the insane measurements of 305x310mm.
The RGB LEDs that run all over the M.2 slots, the PCH heatsink, and the I/O panel gives an aesthetic look to the motherboard.
When it comes to power delivery, the motherboard will feature at least 22 phases for the CPU and four DDR5 memory slots supporting up to 128 GB capacities and a speed above 6666 MHz+. The dual 8-pin connectors, located near the DDR5 slots, power the board while ensuring easy cable management.
Talking about storage options, the motherboard has 6 SATA III ports whereas expansion slots like a PCIe Gen 5.0 x16, PCIe Gen 4.0 x8, and a PCIe Gen 5.0 x8 slot can also be seen. The board has at least six M.2 slots(1 Gen 5.0 x4, 4 Gen 4.0 x4, and 1 Gen 3.0 x4).
The MSI’s MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard flaunts a top-tier audio PCB and a lot of IO. The rear IO panel comes with Clear CMOS and BIOS Flashback buttons.
The very limited edition of only 1000 units produced throughout its entire lifecycle will be priced above 1000 US dollars. The manufacturers will ship the motherboard with MEG S360 AIO Liquid cooler and a pair of Kingston Fury DDR5 memory modules(16GB each).
