MSI X570 Gaming Plus and Pro Carbon Motherboards Leaked

Images of two upcoming X570 motherboards made for AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series have been leaked to the web. These include the MSI X570 Gaming Plus and MSI X570 Pro Carbon. While we do not have any details on these boards, we can derive some information from the leaked images. We’ll start with the X570 Gaming Plus.

The X570 Gaming Plus is part of MSI’s MPG series, which is their middle tier in terms of design and features. It has a black PCB with red accents throughout. There are two PCI-Express x16 slots and three X1 slots (we assume these are PCI-Express 4.0). Only the top x16 slot has MSI’s steel armor on it. Two M.2 slots and six SATA ports are visible. The area where the SATA ports are is sort of cut-out, which we’ve seen a few different companies do lately.

Next we have the X570 Pro Carbon. It of course has that “Carbon” theme we know MSI for. It looks to have two PCI-Express x16 slots and two x1 slots (again we assume these are PCI-Express 4.0). Both of the x16 slots have MSI’s steel armor on them. Most of the bottom of the board is covered by a large integrated heatsink which covers the X570 chipset as well as the two M.2 slots. It is pretty interesting that both of these boards feature fans on the chipset heatsinks. Six SATA ports are visible as well as two USB 3.1 gen 1 headers.
