Overclocking
Overclocking on the Z170A SLI Plus can be done in a few different ways. The first would be with the OC Genie. This can be enabled either in the BIOS or in the Command Center Software. It is a quick instant overclock for those who have never overclocked before.
With OC Genie enabled our system was brought up to 4.4 GHz.
Now if you wanted to stay in Windows you could use the Command Center software to fine-tune your system. Although I personally prefer the BIOS.
Going into the BIOS I set our multiplier to 47 and upped the CPU voltage to 1.35V and was able to achieve a stable overclock of 4.7 GHz. While the system did boot at 4.8 GHz it was not stable.
