MSI’s NVIDIA RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 GPUs spotted on EEC

It’s NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 series leak day! After seeing the die of the Ampere GPU set to be featured in the upcoming GPUs, and EK Water Blocks confirming cooling solutions available at launch, we now have more about the NVIDIA RTX 3000 series. MSI’s versions of the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070 have been spotted on the EEC certification registry.

The leak comes via PC Gamer. The outlet reported that MSI has sent in a total of twenty-nine SKUs. These contain fourteen V388 SKUs, eleven V389, and four V390 SKUs to the EEC for certification. In accordance with past data, these three codenames are likely to reflect RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090. The number of SKUs is likely to be different versions that MSI has in the works under each GPU. Of course, MSI is likely to launch very few versions at first, and some or all of the remaining registered versions later. Videocardz rightly notes that some of these versions might not even make it to the market.
