As we head towards an official announcement of the next-gen NVIDIA GPUs, the company has made a sudden announcement of their new mobile graphics chipset, the MX450.
NVIDIA has quietly released the MX450 with a product page refresh on their website. This seems to be next-generation GPU, based on Ampere, which would explain why there are not many details given on the website, other than PCI Express 4.0 support.
All the provided details are pretty vague. PCIe 4.0 support has no additional details either, so we don’t know how exactly it works in this case. Furthermore, the MX450 supports GDDR6 as well as GDDR5.
We can expect laptops to ship with the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 to ship as soon as October of this year, bringing some extra oomph to thin and light laptops. What are your thoughts? Tell us in the comments, down below!
