Next-gen NVIDIA Quatro RTX to come with Ampere GA102 GPU with 10,000+ cores and 48 GB of GDDR6

NVIDIA recently unveiled its RTX 3000 series of GPUs, with three new cards. The top of the line card in this range is the RTX 3090, which is a beast, but NVIDIA usually has even powerful cards that are placed above the flagship and are not consumer grade. One of them is the next-gen NVIDIA Quatro RTX, and we have some possible details on it.

The details come from a tweet by Moore’s Law is Dead showing a screenshot with possible details of the next-gen NVIDIA Quatro RTX:

You can see that the card has 10752 CUDA cores, and 48 GB memory, shown running at 768 GB/s. The GPU boost clock is 1.86 GHz. The Quadro RTX has the Ampere GA102 GPU maxed out, with the cores arranged in 84 SMs.

It looks like this might not be the top of the line Quadro either, as leaker Kopite7kimi suggested that this could be the A6000, which means we might see the A8000 with more cores and more memory.

We can expect an announcement regarding this in the coming weeks. Thoughts? Hit us up in the comments, down below!
