PS5 might solve this problem as Sony has filed a new patent for a “low battery switch over” system. This is most likely to be a feature of the PS5 DualSense controller. The rechargeable battery of the PS5 controller will drain over time, but instead of using the controller through a USB plug or charging it, you can switch over to the second controller in no time.

Once the controller battery runs low, the console will display a low battery notice along with the option to switch to the second controller.Although the exact battery life of PS5 is yet to be confirmed, we know that it will be two folds of the PS4 controller battery life. At the moment, this is just a patent filed by Sony. We are not sure whether this tech will be implemented in the future or not?

As per the various reports and rumors, we can expect the PS5 to be released at any time during November. As far as the PS5 controller is concerned, the redesigned DualSense will boost social interaction helping creators to create the best content effortlessly.
