Intel DG2 GPU spotted with 6GB and 8GB GDDR6 memory

Intel recently announced its Xe GPUs, and we will be seeing them in the recently announced 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPUs. We know Intel has plans for higher-spec GPUs, and we now have a possible leak regarding one.

Intel’s Xe DG2 GPU, apparently, was recently spotted listed with 6GB and 8GB GDDR6 memory. First off, the 6GB variant was spotted with an Intel Tiger Lake-H CPU with 45W TDP. Take a look:

This seems like the version of the DG2 that will ship with 512 execution units. Apparently there are at least three versions with different EU counts: 384, 512, and 960. The 384 EU version might have also been spotted in a separate leak, with a PCB diagram:Intel DG2 384EU

This model seems to have 6GB of GDDR6 memory, with a die of 189 mm2. The Xe DG2 should make an appearance in more leaks soon. VideoCardz expects it to launch at the end of 2021 and also feature in Alder Lake-H and Alder Lake-U series. It looks like we’re all set to get some decent GPU performance on Intel systems without NVIDIA or AMD chips.
