Noctua makes some of the best performing air coolers we’ve ever seen! Today we are checking out one of their latest premium offerings, the NH-U12A. The NH-U12A is a single tower cooler that features a completely redesigned heatsink with 7 heatpipes and an increased fin surface area for superior heat dissipation. The heatsink is flanked on each side by Noctua’s flagship NF-A12x25 120 mm PWM fans. Noctua tells us that this cooler can rival the performance of many 140 mm size coolers while still offering better compatibility. Is this the new air cooler you need to be looking at? Read our review to find out!
Noctua is using their some old packaging with this cooler, which we hoped they would have changed by now. While it is not that visually appealing it is loaded with information. On the front there is a picture of the bottom of the cooler and list of features. On the back there is a paragraph about the cooler in a few different languages.
One one side there are detail descriptions off all of the features and on the other there is a full list of specifications as well as a diagram showing the dimensions of the cooler.
Opening the box up and getting everything out we have the NH-U12A CPU cooler as well as an accessories box that has all of your mounting hardware, a screw driver, Y-cable for the fans, and thermal compound.
