Back in January 2016, NVIDIA introduced GT 710 to its 10 series graphic cards, and now, after 5 years, NVIDIA has announced a new entry-level SKU called GT 1010.
NVIDIA did not make an official announcement or a blog post for the GT 1010, but it was spotted on the graphic cards driver download page. Youtuber Dapz contacted NVIDIA customer support with the intention of getting some information on the new SKU, but they didn’t share any information.
As far as the specs are concerned, the card is based on the Pascal GP108 GPU. The sources at TechPowerUP state that it features 256 CUDA cores and 2GB GDDR5 RAM. The Sources also say that the card features a base clock speed of 1228 MHz and a boost clock speed of up to 1468 MHz.
It remains as to why NVIDIA announced the GT 1010, considering most integrated graphics today are faster than this SKU.
