NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB 3DMark Benchmarks Leaked

Benchmark results featuring alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB are now available on Chiphell forums. We are not certain how anybody could acquire a driver that supports RTX 4080 16GB so early. This card is not planned to be released until next month, and as far as we are familiar, there are currently no drivers for this card available.

However, the screenshots clearly show a GPU with a boost frequency of 2505 MHz and 76 Compute Units, which in this case are Streaming Multiprocessors, and the leaker makes it very apparent that this card is an RTX 4080. Furthermore, we estimate its maximum performance to be 53,620 GFLOPS, which is somewhat greater than what NVIDIA stated for the RTX 4080 16GB.

The results are remarkable, with the GPU now being the fastest GPU according to a 3DMARK rating. This purported RTX 4080 obtained 17465 and 13977 Graphics points in FireStrike Extreme and TimeSpy Extreme, respectively, putting it at the top of the list. In addition, benchmarks from actual games, such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, have been released.

As one of two RTX 4080 GPUs announced by NVIDIA, the 16GB model has more processing cores and memory. The alleged tested model has 9728 CUDA cores, and an AD103 GPU, whilst the 12GB model has 7680 cores and an AD104 GPU. The release date for both models has not yet been disclosed, although they are scheduled to be released simultaneously next month.
