NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Is Now Available For Just $1109

PNY Technologies is leading the way in offering deals for the RTX 40 series, and they’ve recently reduced the cost of their custom RTX 4080 XLR8 graphics card from $1199 to $1139. This new price is being offered by major US retailers, but the most noteworthy deal is from Newegg, who are offering an extra $30 discount. As a result, the card is now available for just $1109, which is $90 or 8% lower than the original manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

This price reduction isn’t due to changes in exchange rates, unlike what we’ve seen in other places like Europe where the currency is stronger. Instead, this is a deal specifically for the US market and for a graphics card that cost $1199 just five months ago.

PNY has a graphics card with a rather lengthy name, the “XLR8 Gaming Verto EPIC-X RGB”. This particular model is factory-overclocked, boasting a boost clock speed of 2505 MHz. It also features a 3.5 slot cooling solution and requires a 16-pin power connector. It’s worth noting that this is the highest-tier model offered by PNY for this particular NVIDIA SKU.

At the moment, the RTX 4080 is facing competition from AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card. The Radeon card is available for a lower price starting at $959, and offers more memory with 20GB. With these factors in mind, it may seem that the RTX 4080 has a challenging road ahead, and we may only just be seeing discounts on high-end models in the RTX 40 series.
