It looks like the next 2 months are going to be quite busy for mid-range graphics card launches. We should see three new cards from NVIDIA and at least one from AMD. The cards from NVIDIA will be the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, and the RTX 4060 8G. On the AMD side of things we will see the Radeon RX 7600.
The launch schedule for these mid-range cards looks something like this…
– RTX 4060 Ti 8G: Announcement: Mid-May, Release: May 24th
– RTX 4060 Ti 16G: Announcement: Mid-May, Release: 2H July
– RTX 4060 8G: Announcement: Mid-May, Release 1H July
– Radeon RX 7600: Release May 25th
It is quite interesting that NVIDIA will be releasing the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB a day before AMD releases the Radeon RX 7600, and on the same day AMD lifts its embargo on reviews of the Radeon RX 7600.
Following the RTX 4080 Ti 8G will actually be the RTX 4060 (non-Ti) 8GB which will arrive in the first half of July. Then NVIDIA will release a 16GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti in the second half of July. For those wondering the 16GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti is confirmed, but as always NVIDIA can change roadmaps and unlaunch cards.
Will you be picking up any of these mid-range cards?
