NZXT H230 Overview
For a full overview of the NZXT H230 Case be sure to check out our video below.

Taking a first look at the case you can easily see that it carries a standard squared off look with a super glossy front panel. Keep a cloth close as it is a magnet for finger prints but it is beautiful and even mirror like when freshly wiped down.

On the front of the case there is the super shiny door which when flipped open gives access to the inlet cooling via a single included 120mm fan with the capability to fit a 2nd if needed. the venting over the fans has a light mesh which looks to be easy to wipe clean for simple filter maintenance.

The top of the front panel gives you simple connectivity and controls. Power button, HD Audio connections, 2x USB 3.0 ports and a Reset switch round out the top connectivity. The buttons and connections are surrounded by a matte finish plastic which is a good choice as it may reduce cleaning and maintenance needs compared to this area being the super shiny piano finish. on the side of the front panel you will see some venting there which allows for easy airflow even with the front door closed, as many times I have seen where a chassis will have a door and when closed it will cut airflow drastically.

The side panel of the case is straight metal with no window and this is due to this case being a targeted silent case it has sound dampening foam installed on the reverse side to help soak up some of the internal noise that might normally cloud up your work space.

Moving around to the back of the case you can see that the H230 follows convention here with bottom mounted PSU and standard ATX tower layout with an included rear mount 120mm fan in place for exhaust duties. 7 Total PCI expansion slots to ensure adequate fitment for GPUs or anything else you may need.

Both side panels feature thumbscrews for easy access into your case. The bottom has four standard round feet in place along with a removable dust filter. The dust filter is the thin sheet like variety and since it is tabbed on all sides you will have to bend it a bit to get it out of the tabs and removed for cleaning. This kind of limitation is not really a big deal for anyone buying this level of chassis as honestly you have to omit some things in certain price points just to meet that price point.
