Reeven Twila Overview & Installation
The Reeven Twila kit is made up of two RGB LED strips. Each strip has 21 high quality 5050 RGB LEDs embedded in it. You’ll also find small magnets in each strip, we actually haven’t seen this before. This should make mounting these strips very easy, as long as you don’t have an aluminum case (most cases are steel). If you do happen to have an all aluminum case Reeven does include double-sided adhesive tape.
On the end of each strip you’ll find either a male of female standard 4-pin RGB connection. This is to either daisy-chain the strips together or to connect to the extension cable that connects to your motherboard.
Getting these strips installed couldn’t be easier. First decided where you want them to go, for us we installed one strip at the bottom of our case and another on the rear edge of the case. Since these strips have magnets in them they easily stay in place and no adhesive tape is necessary.
Once you have your strips installed be sure you connect them together. Then go ahead and find the cable that connects to your motherboard. It has RGB connections on it which are coded. Go ahead and plug this into the RGB header on your motherboard and you are good to go! Also be sure to clean up any cables, no one likes a messy case!
