So you have yourself a nifty laptop, working away diligently when you start to realize you might need more desktop space. Using a laptop, you find yourself locked into that 15-inch monitor but you need more room, what do you do? Well Samsung might have the perfect solution for you, if you have the extra space; the Samsung LD190G USB Monitor.

1360×768 certainly is a strange resolution.

Not a bad addition to use with a laptop.

I'd be afraid of bringing an extra screen anywhere. If you only use a laptop at home, just buy a new monitor.

Well, this model is more portable then desktop monitors which is the purpose of it.

what's the point of a portable monitor? not like you'd bring it anywhere
Yea, that is quite an uncommon resolution. But i guess it's okay, for the extra desktop space.
Dual display = more room to work with.

Agreed it's more room to work with, but a regular monitor just seems like a better choice over this

A regular monitor would be too bulky.
The only differenct i see between this monitor and a regular one is that it comes with a more stable stand..
Depends on the situation, in theory you could have a tri screen laptop with this setup, one screen on the laptop, one via VGA, and one via USB. Pretty neat IMO, and that style means that it lines up pretty well with the laptop screen to boot

In that case what is the point of a laptop?
You can put this screen inside your laptop case quite easily and all it needs is a power cord and a USB cord. Assuming you have a power outlet and a desk, you can bring this out anywhere to get a second screen.
It's designed to fit and tilt alongside a laptop screen unlike desktop monitors which will sit a few inches above the laptop screen and might not tilt to the same angle.
Poor review, you haven't said anything about how quickly it updates the screen or if there is any lag from the USB connection.
What about connecting using USB 1? Can you do this?
And what about watching video, can it handle High Def video?
Did you even use this for more than 5 minutes before reviewing it?
Thank you this nice post
